Long Time, No See!

Wow. Sorry for not posting for awhile. I have been super duper busy and have not been able to get around to reviewing or writing a post. Gommenasai!

I now have a long, and I do mean long, list of animes to watch, characters to review, mangas to review and animes to review. I will promise I will get around to them.

I am shooting for doing one thing a week. I am busy doing other things and that seems to fit in my schedule.

Also, I am think about renaming Banana Otaku. I want a long name that is more like a statement.

Shinji Hirako

I did him upon my friend's request. Eventually I would have gotten to him.

At first, I didn't like Shinji but my mind changed right away.

One of my favorite things about him was his 'First Love' thing. He calls every girl his first love. In fact, this was one of the reasons why I didn't like him.

My friend and I go on and on about Shinji's upside down smile. Along with his known teasing face. That face mainly goes to Hiyori, who he teases constantly.

At first, I thought he was evil but then I learned he wasn't. He wanted to help Ichigo with Ichigo's hollow side. BTW, I love Shinji's hollow mask. It's pretty awesome.

His style is amazing! A lot of characters don't have that great of one but Shinji does. It is different yet awesome.

I like his hair better in the past. It is much longer and makes him look better.

I like his name. Not in English but how it is written in Japanese. It looks like smiley faces.

Anime Review #5 - Ao No Exorcist (Blue Exorcist)

This was one of my first animes once coming into the anime world again. I found this on crunchyroll.com after watching the anime Shugo Chara! I was simply scrolling through the 'New' section and found this one. I watched the first episode and fell in love with it.

Blue Exorcist is about two sons of Satan, Rin and Yukio. The adoptive father of the twins, was possessed and killed. The two went to True Cross Academy where Yukio planned to go before. Rin goes to Tram School while Yukio teaches. Rin, Yukio and the exorcists go on battling demons and eventually Satan.

From episode one I fell in love with Rin. He was hot and his flames made him even hotter.

I like how the show could make you laugh yet it could make you cry. And at sometimes you just sit there speechless. I like that in my anime.

RinxShiemi

So cute! Their relationship was a common one. It wasn't takem further just little crushing, but it was still cute! I loved when Shiemi would hug Rin to calm him down and Rin would try to protect her. The two always made sure the other one was alright.

I personally hated Yukio the whole entire series. He bothered me with his stupid remarks and his constant babbling. Then at the end he made Rin look weak and not so special. Grrr.

Otherwise, I loved Blue Exorcist. I would die for a second season.

Saito Hiraga

Okay who could not love this pervert? He messes around with a bunch of girls but he truly just loves one. He is adorable.

I love how he has the power to use anything that is meant for battle. It makes him seem smart but truly he isn't. Der makes him seem even dumber with his smart remarks.

At the beginning I didn't really like him. Mainly because he couldn't pay attention to just one girl. He reminds of Guiche a lot. No wonder why they're such good friends!

I think Saito is probably the best familiar EVER. I mean, he is super awesome in battle with a weapon meant for battle. Plus he is loyal to his master. Although I agree with Louise in the whole 'keep your eyes to me' thing. Only I wouldn't beat Saito with a horse whip and call him a dog. Nor would I make him to half the work he does for Louise.

One thing that distracted me was that Saito had one pair of clothes. One. Most anime characters, even though it is the same pair, have more than one. I mean I doubt that with Louise's laundry he washes his clothes too.

I think it would be pretty funny if in the middle of battle he exploded and they find out he was a mage the whole time. I can just imagine the look on everyone's faces. Saito's would be the best.

Now that I think about it, Saito also has his dog costume that he wears sometimes. I wonder where he got it from.......

Anime Review #4 - Kekkaishi

This is one of the first animes I watched when coming back into the anime world. I found it by letting the TV run after Bleach was over. I got into the show just enough to learn the name. I looked it up via Google and found out a little information on it. Just enough to get me to watch it.

Kekkaishis, Tokine and Yoshimori, spend their day as ordinary schoolers but when night falls they're demon extreminators. They are faced with many challenges that lead to serious accidents.

At the time, my genres for animes were low. I really only wanted to watch stuff like Bleach. But I soon remembered that I am a HUGE fan of romance, so my borders lowered. Now they are completely down but I do say no to animes sometimes.

I found Kekkaishi a good comedy. There were moments where I got a small little laugh and then there were the moments when I rolled on the floor laughing.

I thought that it was cute that Yoshimori loved Tokine and there were many moments when I urged them to do something.

Actually, I have only got up to episode 38. You see, I found out about it around episode 49 and I thought catching up and then only getting to see the final episode on the big screen would a waste of time. So I got to the part where Sen comes in and then stopped. I am currently waiting for the repeated series to catchup.

I would have to say that my favorite part of watching this show was just hearing Madarao and Hakubi. God, they're hilarious.

Ichigo Kurosaki

Ichigo is my number one favorite character of all time. He towers over everyone on my list of favorite anime characters.

One thing I love about him is his name. It has, that I'm aware of, three different meanings. One, 15. Ichi is one in Japanese and Go is five in Japanese. Two, strawberry. If you translate strawberry into Japanese, you get Ichigo. Three, the one who protects or number one guardian.

With Ichigo being my favorite character I scream (sort of) every time he appears on the screen. Right now in the current airing English episodes my reaction to him is more animated because he is rarely shown.

Another thing that I love about him is his voice. He sounds so awesome and it fits his personality perfectly. He always has the slight pissed off tone that makes him famous.

Ichigo has such a sad past. But it is what makes him the man he is today. When I learned about his past I got tears in my eyes. Who would have that had happened to Ichigo?

One thing that I am glad about is that he DOES smile every once in a while. Some of them are romantic moments with Orihime, while others are with his friends.

Ichigo is so amazingly powerful compared to the rest of the Bleach characters. A few episodes ago the captains and lieutenants are out there fighting Fracción and having a hard time! Yet Ichigo can defeat Espada and eventually Aizen.

I seriously wanted to kill (I still do!) Tite Kubo because he gets rid of Ichigo's powers. I haven't read the manga so I don't know what happens. I skipped ahead to epsiode 343 and cried. I really hope he gets them back. Even  if he didn't I would still love him.

I think it is pretty awesome that Hollow Ichigo is around. Especially when he takes over Ichigo's body. Thanks to Hollow Ichigo, Ichigo looks ten times hotter.

Ichigo is just amazing. He keeps getting stronger and stronger (until he loses his powers). One day he might just take over the world (I would not mind that). His fights are always so epic. When Ichigo comes into a fight, to me, everything gets more exciting. But when people come into his fights, they ruin it (most of the time).

I love how Ichigo wants to protect everything (expect Rukia, she doesn't need to be protected because no one likes her). The instant you meet and you get on his good side you'll be protected. For example, Senna. They met one day during a battle, became good friends and then he ended up saving her.

You know what also makes Ichigo hot? Blood. Every battle he gets blood on him. I'm not saying that other male characters in Bleach don't look hot covered in blood.

I think I had said most things. I would like to go more into the romance with Ichigo but since it is just on him, I will save it for when I review Bleach.

Anime Review #3 - Kaze No Stigma

Beautiful.
I loved Kaze No Stigma from the very first episode. I actually found this anime on accident. I was looking for pictures of Kazuma Hoshino. I entered in just "Kazuma" and this wonderful person above came up with a few pictures of Ayano. I hunted down pictures trying to finding out what the name was and BAM! I found it. I am definitely glad I stumbled upon this one.
Kaze No Stigma is about a guy named Kazuma Yagami who was original part of the Kannagi household until he lost a fight to his younger cousin Ayano Kannagi, four years ago. He returns to Japan only to be accused of murder.
KazumaxAyano
One of my favorite things about this anime was the romance between Ayano and Kazuma. From the very beginning you could tell that Ayano was in love with Kazuma. Kazuma teased and flirted with her. By the end of the series you can tell that Kazuma loved Ayano too.

One thing I really hated was Tsui Ling. I hated her from the debut. Maybe some people like her but I sure don't. I thought that she was weak and she made girls look bad (In my opinion).
Well Your At It Watch This One Too.
RenxAyumi

I can not forget about this cute little side couple. Ren was soo adorable when he wanted to protect Ayumi. He took after his brother for most parts. I had a few tears in my eyes at some points, mostly when Ayumi died. Please check out the sweet video below.
The reason why I liked the show is because it had my favorite genres. Action, Comedy, Drama, Fantasy, Romance and Supernatural. Any show that has that, I shall watch. Unless, I find it bad or boring.

I felt so bad for Kazuma in the beginning, but after Ayano came into his life and cheered him up, everything was okay.
I personally loved Kazuma's voice! Ayano's had fit her well. Ren, his voice actor was okay.
One of the few things I hated was where the anime ended. They was no amazing battle at the end. Lapis and Bernhardt escaped and they didn't die. Then, I found out that the writer of the manga died. I think someone else should of finished it. :(
